“I’m writing to tell you what a wonderful time my wife and I had on our vacation in December at the Hotel Molokai. Our trip exceeded all of the expectations we had. The reason that the trip was such a wonderful experience was the professionalism, warmth, hospitality and friendship of Michael Drew, the General Manager for Hotel Moloka'i.”

“Beautiful setting, very nice staff, nice clean swimming pool, comfortable and airy rooms. The manager, Michael Drew, is tremendous. He gets involved with the community so that we the guests can enjoy the 'Hawaiian Culture.'”

“Thank you for helping to organize our rooms and our Friday night BBQ this past weekend for our Pacific Century Fellows program here on Molokai. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property.”

Shirley A. - says:
“We had the most wonderful day. The weather was perfect and my guests said,"the meal at Hula Shore Restaurant is the best they have had while in Hawaii." They are staying in my daughter's apartment at Kahala next to the Hotel. So, they should know...You should be proud. We also had my Husband's favorite waitress, Vasti. She was so thoughtful and kind, they liked her too. I usually try to get her station so folks can meet Stan's favorite waitress. They loved the view and being next to the ocean. You are commended for doing such a great job. My congratulations to the new Chef, he is doing an outstanding job. Best wishes to you.”

Stacy P. - says:
“Just wanted to thank you again for allowing me to stay overnight at Hotel Moloka'i last Friday. I enjoyed the experience from beginning to end and look forward to drafting the article on Na Kupuna for Holoholo magazine. I sure appreciate, also, that you and Gene took time from your busy schedules to hang out with me at Hula Shores. Was so nice getting to know both of you.”

Theresa F. - says:
“Thank you for hosting the recent NACTA fam at your beautiful property. We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms and it was very nice. Your staff is extremely helpful and friendly.”

Jane E. - says:
“We especially enjoyed our time at the restaurant (Hula Shores) at Hotel Moloka'i. Lita, was our server most of the time and she was exceptional! She was friendly, helpful and did all she could to make our stay enjoyable.”

Jerry T. - says:
“The hotel is just a few minutes' drive from Kaunakakai, the tiny main town on the island, which is convenient if you want to go to the store or get something to eat. You will find the warmest, friendliest bunch of locals ever and will be a part of the "family" in no time. If you want to unplug, de-stress, hang loose, get away from the crowds and learn from the locals, you can do no better.”

Karen S. - says:
“Imagine what Hawaii would have been like in the 1950's, quiet, local Tiki Bars, local music, amazing employees. This is what Hotel Moloka'i embodies. So, take off your sandals, order a local beer, relax and enjoy Hotel Moloka'i!”

Lorelei B. - says:
“In addition to enjoying the live music at dinner, we liked that we were able to watch sporting games in HD at the bar area. Food presentation is just as important as flavor and was ALWAYS satisfying. Further, we were delighted to have fresh fish and a variety of bar items to choose from. We also liked that Wi-Fi was offered at the hotel. Michael, the General Manager, was very hospitable to us as well as other guests. He seems very passionate about this property and it reflects through the staff.”

“The hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere. We loved the hammocks!”

Richard H. - says:
“Our favorite vacation memory was the Kalapupapa Hike! We also loved the band every night at hotel!”

Rolene M. - says:
“Both my husband and I enjoyed the hammocks by the beach very much. It was a wonderful touch. We also liked everything about the restaurant, Hula Shores, including food and entertainment. The dinners we had there were among the best we had in the 3 weeks we were in Hawaii...which includes some very pricey resort restaurants!”

“Really liked the laid-back atmosphere & local style. They had a very helpful warm staff, our stay was perfect.”

Sharon L. - says:
“All of Moloka’i was awesome. I am glad that it is not overrun with resorts and I was able to learn a lot about the culture of Moloka’i and the peace and quiet at night when I went to bed.”
